At the beginning of 2024, Google was the first to launch the "Circle to Search" function on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series of mobile phones. After that, the function successively supported Google Pixel 8 series phones and Pixel Fold phones.

Recently, Google officially announced that the "circle search" camp has added a new member - Pixel Tablet tablet.

It is understood that Google's re-sale of Pixel Tablet tablets has added a separate purchase option, that is, it is no longer bundled with the previously controversial magnetic charging base.

This change will, of course, come at a lower price: The 128GB version of the Pixel tablet will cost $399 (currently about 2,881 yuan), $100 less than the $499 initial price last summer.

The new Pixel tablet is identical to last year's version, with a Tensor G2 processor, 8GB of RAM, fingerprint recognition and Wi-Fi 6 capability.

Plus, Google's promised security update is four years away, and the operating system is updated until June 2026, so the Pixel tablet still has a long life ahead of it.

There are two ways to use the "circle and search" feature, depending on the phone's navigation Settings. If three-button navigation is enabled, you can launch Circle Search by holding down the home screen button; If gesture navigation is enabled, you can activate it by long-pressing the navigation bar.

Specifically, iPhone 15 Pro /15 Pro Max users can set it as an action button option to quickly activate the "circle and search" feature.
